The essentials
- Your inputs in the calculators, such as salary, tax class or working times, are processed only in your browser. They are not sent to us or to third parties and are not stored.
- We set no cookies, use no local storage in your browser and use no analytics or tracking services.
- When you visit the pages, our hosting provider processes technically necessary connection data.

Calculations in your browser
The calculators consist of program code that is loaded into your browser when you open a page. The calculation takes place entirely on your device. Your inputs are not stored in the address bar, in cookies or in browser storage, and are lost when you close or reload the page. A technical security policy (Content Security Policy) prevents the page from sending data to other servers.
Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 101 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA. With every visit the provider processes technically necessary data, in particular IP address, date and time, the address requested, the amount of data transferred, referrer, and browser and operating system details. This is necessary to deliver the pages and keep the service secure. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and functioning service (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The storage period follows the deletion criteria in the provider’s privacy policy; the provider does not state a fixed period for website visitor logs there.

Fonts
The font “Fira Sans” is loaded from our own server. No connection is made to Google or other font providers.
Contact by email
If you write to us by email, we process your address and the content of your message to answer your request (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, for contract-related enquiries (b)). We delete the message once it has been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply.
Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).
